Pros

Working at FTI has been one of the best career adjustments thus far for myself. A company that prides themselves in culture and company growth is how FTI is growing at a huge rate that they currently are. Working at FTI feels more like a family then it does a job. This is because of the culture that FTI sets forth for their employees.

Cons

Being a newly employee, I cant express any negative cons thus far of FTI. What I can say is that all companies will have downfalls, but FTI always strives to take negative feedback and turn it into a positive for their employees. For upcoming newly hires what I can elaborate on is our PTO. Growing at such a huge rate, our PTO needs to be re-evaluated. Not only will this keep the improvement of company growth but it will decrease employee turnover.

Pros

FTI is serious about caring for it employees, as well as its customers and its owners (who are also employees). The 4 Cs - core values, commitment, compassion, and charity - are more than a slogan, they are part of the fabric of the culture. I have good pay, good benefits, and the opportunity to work with good people who do meaningful work that contributes to the safety and security of this great country.

Cons

Sometimes the rapid growth overwhelms the ability of the company infrastructure to provide robust support. In short, we are still not hiring corporate staff as quickly as we ought, so company support sometimes struggles to keep up with the workload.

Pros

- Senior Management is very transparent with all employees - Monthly Town Hall meetings - Friendly Senior Management - Compensation equal to, or above national average - Employee focused - Fantastic Business Development. Leads to many new contracts to replace those they've lost over time - Excellent work environment

Cons

- Still working out the kinks of having so many satellite/remote locations - Time off = 2 weeks vacation, 1 week sick leave, and 7 national holidays (as opposed to 10). You lose 3 days off that other companies typically provide - Insurance could be better
