Pros

The company is loaded with talented and smart individuals, has a cool office environment, and visionary leadership. FairWarning created its industry, and has a dominant market share. They are dedicated to the success of their customers. Many opps to contribute to local charities and causes. Newly built-out floor has a espresso bar and library. Flat management. There seems to be a lot of personnel promotions across the board. Weekly all-hands meetings keeps everyone in touch with company goals and holds everyone accountable. All employees are based in same office location.

Cons

Never seem to have enough people make it through the interview process, so most staff have too much work to do - good problem to have because the company continues to grow. No place to hide and everyone is expected to be a top performer or strive to become one. Very high expectations from everyone in terms of deliverables and performance. Limited to no remote-work options.

Pros

The leadership at this company is second to none. We are constantly encourage to pursue opportunities for growth, personally and professionally. This is the first time I feel I am developing my career, not just working a "job." I have learned more here in the last few years than in all my previous positions in aggregate. I am challenged and given opportunities for development and advancement. If you are looking for a 9-5 where you can coast by and not really give it your all, then I would advise you to keep looking. I work with dedicated individuals and I hope that is something that never changes. This is a place where you will be recognized for hard work. The culture here is amazing (and not just because of the holiday parties). We collaborate and work as a team to solve problems, improve processes, and develop new ideas. In addition, leadership is committed to philanthropy. They company has participated in several programs such as food drives, donations to those impacted by natural disasters, and others. This is a company that is always evolving and I look forward to evolving with it!

Cons

There are always challenges with a growing company but I would not consider this a"con" more of an opportunity.

Pros

You learn quite a bit and fast but after about 2 years, you start to feel like you're not learning or growing anymore. I used to love working there but now, I can't think of a single good thing to say.

Cons

Company had the feel of a family owned and operated company. CEO and entire family work there and hold powerful positions. If they don't like you, you might as well hang it up and look for a new job. I've seen first hand how they treat their employees and if you're liked, no problem, if you're not liked, they talk to you like you're garbage and treat you differently than others. There are a LOT of kiss ups in the company and if you're not willing to do so, you will never advance. Pay is in NO way competitive to other jobs in the same market and is downright horrible. CEO doesn't believe in giving raises just because so forget about getting any cost of living raise. Even when you do get a raise, you have to practically beg for one. Anything they tell you or promise you, get it in writing or you can guarantee it will never happen or won't happen for several months later. When you leave the company or put your notice in, they immediately treat you differently, like you just told them the company sucks. Very petty. When you leave, forget about them giving you a reference or a referral. They keep their bad employees and the good employees either get sick of it and leave or they work them to death. In order to get hired, you have to go through this completely ridiculous process to see if you will fit in with the company's environment, but never mind being qualified for the job, just get along with every one. Bottom line, do yourself a favor, don't work there, it's not worth the pay, time, or energy.
