Pros

New CEO has a clear growth message and has the software experience to achieve it. Management cares about your growth and success at all levels. Very young culture and a lot of excitement. Very smart people across the organization make it a fun and professionally challenging.

Cons

With high growth comes lots of constant change and evolution. You need to be nimble to be happy.

Pros

I cannot remember any pros besides a small handful of decent people but they don't stay for long. This is a great place if you're a beginner in your career and want to use a job in order to get a better paying job.

Cons

I wanted to just quickly echo what is said in other reviews to support what has been reported about the culture of the company, the founder, the nepotism, and issues with different cultures and diversity. All true. Turnover rate is really high which says everything you need to know, but there's more... Family members that work here receive special treatment. The founder is arrogant beyond belief, and what another reviewer said about you having to "answer to him" is accurate as he tests people making it feel like you're back in school. People wanting a healthy work-life balance are shamed. Recent college grads are exploited for low pay. Unless you're close to the family, you are discouraged from taking vacation and sometimes even prohibited from doing so if you haven't worked there long enough. And you wouldn't believe how diverse employees that don't behave in a particular expected way are treated... it's pretty atrocious. Working here in my experience can be traumatic, especially if you're a POC. You have been warned.

Thank you for providing your feedback, we’re sorry you did not have a positive experience at FairWarning. We did want to take a moment to address a few of the comments you mentioned. It appears you are no longer at FairWarning and based on your review, you were probably a team member over a year ago – there have been a lot of changes in 2019. FairWarning has now hired a new CEO and a big focus for 2019 has been listening to employee feedback and enhancing our policies to reflect what our team actually wants and needs. A few of the big changes have been a switch to unlimited time off, remote working days, and flexible schedules. We have also launched awards and recognition programs as well as annual reviews and a structured merit cycle. FairWarning encourages diversity and has made strides towards building a culture around just that.

Pros

The team here makes it worthwhile. I love the people I work with. They are some of the smartest, hardest working people I know. I have learned a lot.

Cons

Still feeling out the interim CEO. A lot feels in limbo. There have been a lot of changes recently. Too much is catered to a younger crowd. I wish it were more inclusive. Things like Happy Hour, Field Day, and other activities are great, but after working 40+ hours a week, I would love an activity that helps balance family a bit more.
