Pros

Not really sure, it's a paycheck! Nice people in the office, upper management is a joke.

Cons

We are losing and letting good people walk out the door, and my personal opinion is more will leave as upper management is clearly taking a different direction than what we are used to. Mike and his family, have a lot of secrets we aren't privileged to. If you aren't related to Mike or willing to bow down, you will never do anything with this company.

Growing Company. Great Opportunities

Pros

I joined Faith Technologies seven months ago. I can't argue there is a lot of moving and changing taking place right now, but it's all due to huge, recent growth for the company. I can understand that some folks (specifically those who had been with Faith for years) find change intimidating, but for me, it looks like nothing but growth potential. Faith Technologies is no longer the small community business it once was—it’s grown substantially and is a huge national player. I think it's great to see new blood coming into the organization. Not only do we need the people (they are doing a TON of hiring right now for growth) but it makes sense that Faith finds find new experts across functional areas to recruit while continuing to promote from within. Overall, the company is moving in the right direction for growth. For the employees of Faith, growth will be a good thing. Looking forward to a long and exciting career with Faith.

Cons

The culture shift has been difficult. Because there has been a lot of change, communication and culture are suffering a bit. I think that’s pretty normal during this type of evolution; it’s hard to get everyone on board. That said, there are many new initiatives to help get people through like regular meetings (monthly all hands meetings, weekly team meetings and individual one on one meetings), increase in program awareness (safety, wellness, recruiting) and referral and mentoring programs for new hires. I think we are definitely on the upswing.

Good Company Overall

Pros

Very large, professionally managed electrical contractor serving diverse markets. Best in class safety and training programs. Benefits package was overall good but health care benefits have been gradually reduced to curtail costs.

Cons

Lots of changes in recent years causing a fair amount of unrest and political infighting. The overall business strategy is moving away from a service orientation to a large job focus. Large is not necessarily better.
