      Pros

      I am a single dad and my daughter is diagnosed on the autism spectrum and other special needs I was always using my vacation time when she was in the hospital or had evaluations I needed to attend. I needed a job where I could make my own hours but be around for my kid. I decided to join Family First Life after I met someone who worked with them at an event. It's been a hard transition, but Family First Life has helped me out every step along the way. If I don't work I won't make money but if my kid needs me I can be there for her.

      Cons

      This is not an easy position and you will have a learning curve but you will get there.

      Pros

      Was downsized before I reached retirement. I was nowhere near ready to retire so I looked into different opportunities. I found Family First Life and immediately thought this is for me. I have a ton of freedom to travel and stuff on my terms but I am working and making a living. Since I am older the senior clients respond to me well. I love my work helping protect people and my retirement is going to be better than I ever thought when it arrives!

      I am waiting on a con but it has not come up.

      Pros

      Shawn Meaike and company are solid upright guys who really are turning insurance around! I have worked with other IMO's and this is the best of the bunch but not perfect. What sets them apart beyond the comp are the people and training. This is a well-oiled machine! They support their agents. Worth checking out.

      Cons

      Every job has cons. Of course you have to drive and deal with people but overall it is great.
