Pros

After college, I didn't want to lose my freedom to a full-time job, but I also didn't want to be broke. A friend told me about Family First Life, and I was not interested in selling insurance because of misconceptions. After I lost my job I begrudgingly I started to study for my insurance exam. I got my license. Over time I got better and better at closing deals. This career slowly grew on me! I love selling insurance, and it leaves me the freedom to travel as much as I want and I get to help families. The comp and renewals are outstanding.

Cons

Although I can take time off you have to work to make money. This is not a job for those with a play hard mentality.

Pros

My kids are still young so I am working part time but I can attest this is the most money I can make working part time! I do calls when the kids are in school and a few evenings a week. This is a great company with a great culture. We serve the people who need help in getting insurance and protecting their families. We are never to push a sale on someone who does not want or need our help.

Cons

I can't even think of a con to report. I work for myself.

Pros

I decided to look into Family First Life the week before their annual convention in Las Vegas. I decided to attend and I was glad I did! The culture of the company is incredibly diverse and I got so much useful and applicable training! I am still studying for my agent exam but I feel I have a leg up on what the company is about and their values and culture. I can't wait to be part of the team

Cons

Will let you know when I find one. Being commission only has me nervous!
