Pros

I love the culture at FamilyPath and I genuinely enjoy everyone I work with! I also really enjoy meeting a variety of families and children and having the opportunity to interact with them each day. I especially love seeing the new skills and progress our kids make over time. Every day is different, there are always new skills/strategies to learn, I am rarely sitting at a desk, and playing with the kids is an absolute joy. Additionally, management is always looking for ways to provide additional career opportunities for those who desire to move up within the company.

Cons

Work/life balance and time management can be challenging at times. It can be hard to balance maintaining service hour/billable expectations while also keeping up with the administrative aspects of this position. There are also times where there are communication breakdowns between the clinical team and administrative team, which can be challenging when it occurs.

Not being able to make every team meeting, having to take PTO for bad weather days

Thanks for the review! We always encourage feedback loops as they help us improve together! Our work is based on relationships with the children and we love to hear you're enjoying your time with your kiddos! And we can't help but to agree! We love our program managers and are thrilled to hear Lyssa has been a valuable supervisor. It can be difficult to coordinate schedules consistently, while still respecting your time and our hours of operation. We understand it can be frustrating; however, our program managers try to consider all team member's schedules when planning these meetings to minimize conflicts. We encourage continued collaboration outside of meetings to help mitigate any ones you may miss. We understand making travel decisions can be difficult when severe weather arises. We have and continue to develop options to perform administrative and training duties in place of service when inclimate weather develops. Unfortunately, this work is not always available and thus PTO must be applied. We will continue to try to expand our work options for inclimate weather moving forward.
