The primary form of communication is gossip, because management refuses to acknowledge that it's a small company that needs to keep employees in-the-know. Way too reliant on investors for leadership and decision-making. No CEO at the moment, which has led to some disorganized direction. Other benefits are good but maternity/paternity leave are behind most of the KC metro.
While I loved my time at FanThreeSixty, the way they treated employees during COVID-19 is a huge indicator of what's actually important. They told us for months that things were ok, only to lay off half the staff on a Zoom call that was supposed to be our normal all-company meeting. Left employees with few options and destroyed the company culture all in about five minutes.
