Pros

I would list real ones but why bother when HR will just make 5 star reviews themselves with less than 20 works total? They don’t even bother trying to make them look real. Instead every week they do their low content high star review

Cons

HR is essentially non existent. I’ve been here for several years and could not tell you who my HR rep is. Management abuses what few policies are in place and when people do go to them they are told to just find a way to make it work. This is easily one of the worst cultures I’ve ever worked in.

Pros

Opportunity to work with some cutting-edge technology in the sports betting industry. Most colleagues were great to work with, and there were a few genuine professionals who truly cared about delivering quality work. The fast-paced environment gave me valuable experience in scaling projects in a startup-like atmosphere.

Cons

Management Issues: The leadership in the QE group, particularly starting from the main manager, fostered a toxic work culture. Favoritism was rampant, especially toward employees with Amazon backgrounds, leaving other team members feeling unsupported and undervalued. Any feedback or effort to address these issues was ignored or dismissed. Lack of Accountability: Despite numerous complaints to HR, there was no action taken to address the unprofessional behavior from management. It became clear that HR did not prioritize the well-being of employees. They failed to intervene in situations where management was clearly bullying and undermining staff. Favoritism and Games: There was a strong sense of favoritism within the team, particularly toward those with certain previous employer affiliations. This led to an uneven playing field, where some individuals were given unfair advantages while others were left to struggle with minimal support or acknowledgment of their contributions. Poor Support from Leadership: Management lacked transparency and communication, often playing games with employees' careers and growth. Rather than fostering a collaborative environment, they prioritized personal favorites and created division within the team.

Pros

* 40% discount on jerseys and merchandise * Unlimited PTO if you have a manager that has any planning skills or foresight (there are none)

Cons

* Toxic culture in engineering from the very top. The entire tech org is a good old boys club of Indian men. * Has not hit a bonus target in several years. 50% in 2022, 35% in 2023 and bonus is based on contrived metrics that you have no control over. Somehow we hit 0 on a metric. HOW? Execs present exceptional growth numbers at every all hands though. * Company valuation has been flat since last fund-raise. * Executives spend massive amounts courting celebrities and athletes and then delay any cost of living adjustments. * Forcing return to office despite no evidence that it improves productivity, in fact since they started at two days, then three, productivity is noticeably down. * Horrific time zone conflicts as teams are split between India and USA. You will have 11pm meetings regularly. * Egotistical managers that have not written a line of code in years and think they know it all from reading the getting started page on an Apache product. * Absolutely no bandwidth for tech debt until something blows up in a VP's face, which happens often. There are constantly SEV incidents open and no one seems to be able to quantify impact so everything is an emergency. * Absolutely no team comradery. No one wants to bond because no one knows where loyalty lies. * Layoffs every year at the beginning of the year coupled with increase in scope of the roadmap. No project ever completes on target. Some miss targets by YEARS. * New CEO of commerce is snake tongued and robotic. No humanity. I seriously doubt he has empathy whatsoever.
