Pros

Biggest pro - the people. Fandango has some wonderful talent. You will be exposed to smart, intelligent people who truly care about their jobs and helping you be better at yours. You also have access to some of the biggest agencies and companies - Google, YouTube, Facebook - in ways that few companies get access. Great kitchen and snacks. Lots of autonomy - too much at times. I struggled between a 2 and a 3 for the review. But the pros don't necessarily outweigh the cons in the short term.

Cons

Strangely enough - it's also the people. There is a veneer of caring about the employee, but the reality doesn't bare out. The company culture is incredibly stagnant, and the good people mentioned have either left or been replaced. The irony of the work too is that none of the teams trust each other - particularly dev views the rest of the company as either tanking the company or worse. But yet everyone seems to think its hunky-dory. There is a true lack of vision as well, and employees on the mid and lower tiers are demoralized. Success is never defined on any level, and most of the current employees feel lost or are waiting to be replaced.

Pros

Decent work life balance, free movie tickets, catered lunches, well stocked kitchen, nice people, half day off during summers, lots of team events

Cons

No growth potential, no raises, no bonuses unless you're a director, no direction, no hr support. They rather hire externally rather than grow their staff. People are underpaid. Massive exodus of senior people recently, what does that tell you?
