Pros

# work life balance # higher than average salary # annual pay increase for everyone regardless of performance # fortune 25 company (resume builder)

Cons

# the open secret is you CANNOT get promoted you need to apply to open positions internally to advance your career # pervasive complacency # outdated practices and legacy routines carried forward just because # frequent reorganizations and turnover in general # annual pay increase for everyone regardless of performance (disincentives going above and beyond) # due to frequent reorganization, often technical employees are unqualified to performance new duties which on its own is usually a good thing for growth but given the pervasive complacency, it translates to incompetent employee as they frequently do not care to become proficient
