Pros

You are given the opportunity to share your opinion if you can explain how you came up with it. You work independently and are given a lot of freedom.

Cons

Sometimes you have to work a lot of hours. You are dealing with people at some of the worst times of their lives and it can be emotionally draining on you as well.

Starting to Feel Creepy!!

Pros

The benefits are great especially the 401k match and you do get benefits on day 1 also the time off is generous.

Cons

I'm starting to think this is no longer the job for me, there is really high micro managing. they are constantly monitoring your screens and I hate it. I understand for ethical reasons but its starting to get creepy. I consider myself a very ethical worker but the fact that I am trying to work and someone is always watching me and upper management/trainers brag about how they can live see your screens just feels creepy to me

Pros

Farmers used to be a great place to work. During the pandemic they assured employees we would remain virtual permanently. There is a new CEO and he announced over email that if an employee is within 50 miles of an office, they are required to go in 3 days a week. That can be a 3 hour commute for someone. If this is the new CEO first major decision, I am super fearful of what else is coming down the pike. I have been with Farmers for over 20 years and will now look for another job. I don't have to go into the office however I won't work for a company that doesn't give a sh** about it's employees and one that I can't trust.

Cons

CEO is not trustworthy! He pulled a bait and switch and people are mad! I think this was done intentionally so that they don't have to lay people off and instead and just forcing them to quit.
