      Farmers gets you to build a business for someone else

      None, wasted the best years of my life!

      Cons

      You work very hard in your personal network to build a great business and then Farmers comes in a takes it all from you for a fraction of what it's worth and gives your life's work to a younger, untrained agent. Was forced (as an Independent Contractor) to invest in an office and have a large overhead, only to have Farmers come in with a Hostile Takeover. See lawsuit in CA due to ageism. They will bankrupt you with a smile and send you into financial ruin.

      Pros

      Competitive salary and benefits. Your coworkers are intelligent, hard working, good people. No experience necessary. Good way to get into the insurance industry.

      Cons

      The turnover rate is outrageous. On one team I saw 10 people disappear over the course of 18 months. 5 were fired, 3 quit and 2 transferred. The workload is so ridiculous that most people either drown or burnout. People get fired or quit left and right. It's also hard to get time off or have a flexible schedule. Do yourself a favor and get a job some place else. This was the worst workplace experience I have ever had.
