      Farmers Family is a special place!

      Pros

      Majority of the people I've worked with are great and at our facilities in Olathe, KS and OKC, OK, we are a Farmers Family! The company does a lot of great things for it's employees, little extra perks and amenities at these contact Center sites. Quite a lot of opportunities for growth for strong performance!

      Cons

      Some smaller specialized departments do not have a lot of growth opportunity, but they try to provide project work and opportunities to work with other groups for growth. Not the highest paid company, but a quite good benefits package.

      Pros

      I have an excellent manager, and as long as projects are completed on time and budget, he requires nothing more than periodic status updates. Brand new data center, with top of the line equipment and overall technical proficiency of the team is very high.

      Cons

      Individual departments within IT are very compartmentalized, and even large scale projects can come about with very little integration from other departments (often to the detriment of the design or execution).

      Good sales training and literature available to assist in marketing

      Cons

      Encouragement of overspending in marketing with promises of reimbursement that are not fulfilled.
