Pros

The co-workers and the regular customers who you can have a laugh with on a regular basis.

Cons

Employees are not trained properly. Management knows less than most employees. Outside hiring is given priority than internal promotions The wage for the amount of work, skill and knowledge required is too low. The staff is far too short staffed and if you walk in on a Sunday Evening you will see a ratio of 1 employee to 7 customers. The job can get stressful if you are understaffed and have customers constantly trying to get your attention. It is highly much more stressful when you are a Project Manager. The employee discount of 30% is less than what most of our account holders get (40% to 60% off) Management does not hold people accountable for being late, missing shifts, or not following protocol when giving away shifts.

Pros

Fun to work in print shop environment and work with customers...if that's something you enjoy, of course.

Cons

Poorly managed, little to no opportunity for advancement or growth unless someone quits or gets fired. I spent more time dusting the same retail items that never sold day after day, than I did getting to consult with customers and work in production. Management refused to completely train and allow several of my coworkers and I in consulting and production. They scheduled only 1-3 knowledgeable staff members on hand to do so despite our store being the main production center in a large city....aka long lines of frustrated customers while I dusted because every time I tried to step up I'd end up getting in trouble.

Pros

Discount on shipping Discount on printing Discount on Adobe products (CS 6) Discount on Microsoft Office Can transfer to different locations.

Cons

I was promoted to lead center coordinator then transferred and went down to customer service agent. When the lead center coordinator left, they closed the position (so no promotion for anyone). I argued this and was able to get the center specialist title with no raise. After 3 months they decided to do away with all titles, except lead coordinator, AM, CM. So they change everyone to customer consultant. So lost my promotion which happened just before our annual review. So again no raise because I was already at the top of the pay grade for the customer consultant title. Now my store has only a CM, so nobody can get promoted unless they leave the center. In my case bad management from center to District manager. Wants full time employees to convert to part time. Forces you to sell Products of the month. Cutting staff, so your center works with the bare minimum. Change your schedule on a whim without notice. Vacation request not answered in the 2-4 day turn around. Does not have a union. No breaks given.
