Pros

Good place for work life balance, half day friday is great. Not sure how long it will last though. Great team members. Decent use of technology and tools.

Cons

IT leadership is unclear about direction. Looks at FedEx for guidance every step of the way. No future for mid to low level team members.Seems like FedEx Memphis will slowly but surely take control of Office IT.

Pros

I had been given a Beacon award from the CEO of FedEx Office, Brain Phillips on March 20 in 2009

Cons

Although, I had been given a Beacon award from the CEO of FedEx Office, Brain Phillips on March 20 in 2009 for my outstanding customer service, in delivering the Purple Promise. That prestige’s Beacon award was never given to me within the 24hour period in which all “Beacon Awards” from the Chief Executive of Operations are routinely presented. Consequently, this kudos was not given to me until October of 2009 (6 months later), after being discovered by Center Management and District Management during a Clean and Bright day at the store location in September 2009. Then one month later I was Administratively Transferred from the location to another location that takes “3 hours” to get to by public transportation. What was the purpose of going above and beyond dedication, devotion, commitment, keenness and loyalty for 10yrs “to reach the top” of one of Fortune Magazine top 100 companies to work for if this is how Beacon Award winner from the CEO of the company are treated at FedEx Office – I thought you just like to know. THANK YOU!! (Where am I now on disability of course - transferred block to return to old location)
