This company is not a great company for advancement or an actual career. The pay & management is poor given all that it asks of its employees. Those with the best work ethics were often passed over instead of promoted. Management was often not honest about hours, wages and schedules as well. Management is often poorly trained.

The use of Fedex specific applications hinders your ability to do your job effectively and cuts off all opportunities to develop transferable skills. They apply the same work philosophies that work very well in the shipping industry to the printing industry but it is not working. Their emphasis on operating policies supersedes the individual's problem solving skills. They literally use cartoons to do their training. It is insulting and not helpful. They are overly concerned with irrelevant metrics that distract from the job at hand. The key to a long FedEx the not draw attention to yourself and always have a backup.
