      A Job- Not a Career

      Pros

      Made great friends, we were truly a team; seeing people satisfied with their products was very heartwarming; the job itself was easy; at my store we could learn any aspect of the job from customer service to design; it's very easy to move up as long as you have the passion to do so.

      Cons

      Management does not care about the employees, would throw you under the bus in a heart beat. If not for the support of the coworkers I don't think I would have made it 3.5 years with the company; raises are cents a year- I went from $10/hr to $10.30 in two years and on my 3rd year review I was given $12/hr because I was told they didn't accurately assess my skills in my previous PA's.

      Pros

      Great benefits and nice base pay especially for new comers.

      Cons

      Finds easiest ways to prevent growth unless you really know someone. DM’s aren’t very caring and helpful which is big when trying to be promoted. Also watch your actions in and out of work because irrelevant actions such as verbal altercations with complete strangers anywhere besides work can possibly result in being terminated.

      Pros

      Great focus on learning and development. Really great benefits, including 401k match, SUPERB health insurance, and deep discounts on shipping. Emphasis on teamwork.

      Cons

      Used to have a BIG emphasis for a 'people first' philosophy, but has strayed away from that in recent months. Work life balance can be stressful at times due to staffing situations.
