A good benefits package makes up for lower than industry standard salaries.

Cons

Like most large corporations, highly impersonal, no worker loyalty. Don't expect to make a difference, corporation is managed strictly to maximize Carl Icahn's portfolio. New ideas are routinely rejected. Don't think that if you're salaried you won't be expected to work holidays - depending on your position you may also be asked to give up vacations without warning.

It was a place to get some money...

Cons

Medical is only just adequate They expect you to work 7 days a week for 10 to 12 hours. If you don't... as a Manufacturing Engineer, I could not get time on the equipment because is was in constant use 24/7, not even PMs were done. When it was not running Maintenance which was union, wouldn't let me touch it. When it was running Operators being union would not let me touch it.
