Pros

Big company around the world.

Cons

Management not profesional. They don't like to work with systems even do FM has it. They prefer to work with directions according to what the top manager say one day, even if it's completely wrong or opposite of he said yesterday or the week before. Work shifts including engineering level are bad, from 12 hrs minimum per day, 4 days per week, including at night.

Pros

Mature product lines - Good brand name products - Should be leader in these commodity products. Salaries are market competitive.

Cons

Non- American upper management. They hate Americans, our way of life, and our free speech. Tried too many gimmicks to increase profits - Management refused to recognize they are selling commodity products. Management did not invest in plants, people, equipment, or technologies. Someone should investigate the reasons for the closure of the Summerton, SC plant. You would be surprised. Former CEO admitted the wrong plant was chosen for closure - this hurt over 300 working families - FM should compensate these families for their actions in closing the Summerton, SC plant.

Pros

This group has a well known recognition for the excellence of its products and technologies. It has a global footprint in sales, R&D and manufacturing. This may open opportunities for executives with strong manufacturing background.

Cons

Headquartered in the US, the group remains very centralized despite the major restructuring which occurred over the last 3/4 years with the consolidation of business units and split of OE and aftermarket activities.
