Pros

Good benefits and pay.

Cons

Super conservative environment that discourages innovation and independent thought. Slow to react to market and consumer-driven changes. Ultra risk adverse that may ultimately lead to their demise. It's either the Fed-way or no way.

Pros

Flexible hours, good commissions, decent pay

Cons

The company doesn't care about its producers unless you are 10 years in. You are always disposable and they make it known that if you have one off year they'll be searching for your replacement. They can also re-align and cut your territory anytime they want. That means you can build a big book of business with good renewal commission only to have it cut out from under you.

Pros

Great sales training, huge salary potential, great crm software, full pension, luxrious company trips, and family atmosphere.

Cons

Crazy hours for first two years, limited growth, commission caps, producers do not own the book of business.
