      Pros

      I cannot think of even one pro. I was running for the door since the day I realized how the place runs.

      Cons

      Intense micromanaging, while accomplishing nothing. Mediocre benefits. Stuck in their ways, and unwilling to adapt to modern times. The least inclusive work environment I have ever been a part of, and I was truly uncomfortable for the months I was there. Goalposts are constantly moving, and you will never get clear instructions because each of your ridiculous amount of bosses will tell you to do things differently. Prepare to feel belittled and spoken down to with frequency.

      Pros

      Benefits are good but can be found anywhere honestly. They offer a pension which is about the only thing that stands out to me as a PRO

      Cons

      Pyramid Scheme. Your boss above you doesn't care what you do as long as his wallet is getting bigger. No help from your boss at all in situations that he should normally assist in. Poor company culture.

      Contributions to the community - Owatonna is very Federated centered or supported.

      Cons

      There seems to be definitive discrimination within recruitment - since there is low turn over in this department, a discriminatory stance develops when seeking employment with Federated. I’ve seen this firsthand and consistently over a 8 year period with qualified individuals not being given consideration.
