Pros

IT'S THE PEOPLE! Technology with a heart 100%. I've never worked for a more intentional people focused organization in my career who do what they say and say what they do. The culture at FDX is incredible and led by example every single day and with intention. Our product is world class, our people are world class and I am incredibly thankful to play a small part on this mighty team!!!

Cons

Can't acquire additional amazing Feedos fast enough!

YES - Be intentional. Both of the Legacy Principles "Know Thyself" or "Play with Purpose" speak so much to that and we have done a good job of being intentional with each other and with our own actions. We must continue if we are going to keep our special sauce. As a part of Senior Leadership, we can't thank you enough for practicing what you preach and helping us guide this team to greatness!

Pros

I have had the opportunity to work with Feedonomics for almost three years. My leaders lead with heart, encourage me to lead with my heart, and live by the standards of our culture. I have worked in toxic companies with great leaders, in great companies with toxic leaders, and in places that were just plain toxic. Feedonomics is everything I've been looking for a long time. I love it here.

Cons

I have some little problems. Remote work has some disadvantages, but nothing significant.

I couldn't agree with you more: we have heart in spades. It is our people that provides this company's heartbeat and what makes the product, service, and culture special. Let me know if there is anything we can do to make remote-first work more productive for you.

Pros

Company focuses on the employees as well as the business.

Cons

Since Feedonomics has been purchased by BigCommerce, employees are more distant from the decision makers.

It is great to hear that you consider Feedonomics a “nice place to work and that you recognize that we place a significant focus on you and your teammates. It is interesting to hear your comment about leadership being further removed from our employees as Feedonomics is an autonomous entity run by the same management team and original founders. As CEO I still share regular notes with our various leadership teams ensuring alignment and transparency with all the big issues impacting us. There are definitely benefits of being part of a larger public company which our teammates have seen the immediate value. Better benefits, like health and employee assistance programs, adoption assistance, and stock options to name just a few. These were not available when we were a smaller privately held bootstrapped company. Our culture is still at the forefront of everything we do, and every moment of my day and the broader leadership team is spent ensuring our “ special sauce” is retained . Please feel free to set up some time with me to share where you feel that you are distanced from decision making and we will do all we can to address that for you, to the extent that we can.
