Pros

The people in the theory department are nice and friendly. The work hours are flexible, and there is a partial remote work option. The building is pretty if you like brutalist architecture, as well as the grounds. There is a gym and other extracurricular activity centers.

Cons

Can feel isolating at times, there are not always similar peers to befriend. Location is far from Chicago center if you like that. Government bureaucracy to go through.
