Pros

Stimulating variety of work challenges, Great work atmosphere, and campus society. Great opportunities for advancement based on proven performance. Encouragement and opportunity to continue education.

Cons

As DOE down line funded the uncertainties of yearly funding and the evolutional changes after elections make it frustrating to plan and often priorities are guided due to finding shortfalls.

Pros

Good social place to meet people, relaxed work area and free Friday afternoon cheese and wine party. People are nice in general.

Cons

Not enough pay, software development is mostly in maintainence phase so primarily just reworking existing code. Fermilab funding in the future cloudy
