Pros

Pockets of good, nice people to collaborate. Lots of growth for the company and no shortage of opportunities to make change, just have to overcome lot of challenges and lack of process.

Cons

Mentally exhausting, lot of talk and also significant amount of team/functions do not do/know their roles.

Pros

Ferrara is very agile with few defined processes for its size. This allows employees to work in an entrepreneurial fashion and can be empowering.

Cons

Ferrara values speed but is not always efficient, with multiple work steams often duplicating efforts. Ferrara also has a culture rooted in private equity, where profit is first and people development is a distant afterthought.

Pros

Agile and nimble team that can change with the dynamic retail business environment. Still a dedicated team of people are collaborative and tackle day to day challenges.

Cons

Huge turnover issues. Struggling sales and forecasting. A micromanaging CEO that hasn’t really grown the business other than changing the business mix and filling his pockets with money from the sale of the company to Ferrero. The environment is extremely toxic and challenging for many junior associates and mid level management; some of the change that the c-level suite pushes out is unnecessary. Lack of business strategy from top down. Extremely reactionary environment.
