The people are nice, and the work is steady.

Cons

Although they inform you in the hiring process of the possibility of working weekends and overtime, they never tell you that they will call an hour before they want you. They never tell you that they will decide for you if you're staying late. They never tell you that you have no control over your schedule/day off. And they certainly never tell you that they will work you seven days plus in a row. People would be okay with the hours if they had control over when they worked on the weekend and got to schedule their own OT.

Many of the executive committee members are personable and care about their work and business.

Cons

- Lean Management Style, resulting in burnout and high attrition due to consolidation of critical roles that management didnt know were critical. - Poor communication between corporate and factories. Corporate team has zero knowledge on what goes in to making the product, resulting in unrealistic expectations being set on plant staff. This also applies to benefits and work environment - Wildly non-compliant - Rampant favoritism - Negligent leadership with zero career pathing and development opportunities (unless it’s forced by corporate L&D) - Pay structure for hourly staff was developed to highly compensate those who work high hours. Structure for exempt staff unequal between sites/gender/race for all departments. - Many skeletons of former management practices coming to light, many of who are still employed with the company.
