Pros

Being employed with health insurance

Cons

Ferrero is extremely toxic. Management will gaslight you until you are blind. They will preach fundamentals but behave contradictory and hypocritically. If you are not a male Italian or a white male with friends in high places then don’t expect decent salary or work life balance.

Pros

People (Mid level managers) Decent salary Brands

Cons

- Poor and phony leadership - Absolutely no work-life balance - Antiquated way of doing business - Unreasonable expectations/workload - Lack of structure and processes -Chaotic -True definition of Insanity - Treat employees poorly and condescendingly -Anarchy style, expect you to bow down to those based on title - Lacks vision and strategy - Behind in innovation - Reactionary style - Inefficient -Top heavy with VPs and no lower /middle level mgrs that need to get job done - Claim to be “entrepreneurial” but that’d require all working together, and getting things done (not the case here) -Italians have this demeanor that women are beneath them - Adapt to US culture vs bringing traditional Italian ways that don’t work to the US - Walk the talk, as much as they say “People Centricity” is their top pillar it’s all a front. They all treat people how they feel like it.

Pros

There are no Pros to this company

Cons

There are a handful of professional people in this company but unfortunately, the rest have no respect for others. You will have people that will literally yell at you via email and disrespect you, and there are no consequences. Everyone just chooses to look the other way. Upper Management does not acknowledge their employees and there are definitely favorites. Asking questions is looked down upon and they expect you to know everything right off that bat, and watch out if you make a mistake. When I interviewed I was told the company was open to suggestions and feedback, which is a complete lie. The response you will always receive is "that is the Ferrero way". It is an Italian company, in the US, trying to run business the same way they would in Europe but that does not work well for them. Lastly, the company has a reputation for micromanaging. Managers don't trust their employees unless they are Italian. Good luck if you don't read, write, or speak Italian. The company culture leaves a lot to desire.
