Toxic work culture

Pros

I wish I could provide the 20 word minimum but I can say that my colleagues and our office were lovely

Cons

Disorganized, heavily masculine culture. Truly toxic, with senior leadership who micromanage, massive employee turnover, limited growth and poor work life balance. Who takes away summer hours during a pandemic?!

Pros

Great brands = bonus payout. Compensation is up to par with industry standard.

Cons

Definitely not an organization for the meek, or for anyone that expects work/life balance. A bully culture exists, that starts with the VP/leadership team and ends/aligned with HR. The company boast a focus on people centricity, but in actuality, any concerns from their people is met with false claims, and retaliation. The internal teams and fellow team members all find a way to make it work amongst very stringent and tough circumstances, but you will always be disparaged by leadership or channel VP. All is not dire though, as there is plenty of support and guidance if you happen to land on the Strat team...but that is about it. It's easy to deal with this tough environment when you're constantly +double digits. But, things are starting to turn, on a downward trend, which means more pressure, and more expectations to continue to deliver growth. If you value your family, your sanity, and expect respect, please look elsewhere.

Bullies, lack of communication and understanding, not open to change

Pros

Brands are widely known, but the company name is not. A handful of people are great.

Cons

Leadership bullies the underlings into submission. They do not understand or see all the extra work that needs to be done to make things happen. The more you give them logical and reasonable points for not being able to do something, the more they bully to get what they want. There is no partnership at the leadership level. Everyone is out for their own and nobody listens to each other. They entire organization is driven off of fear. Fear that they will be get yelled at or pressured too much. Fear that they won’t be the “favorite” anymore and get bumped out of the “club”if the word “no” is said. Fear of just getting an earful filled with profanities or get mocked behind their backs. They are not open to change. They say they want to be told what they are doing wrong, but at the end of the day they squash good ideas and continue to do things the “Ferrero way” just so they can fulfill their agenda even if it doesn’t dovetail with others. It is a very dysfunctional organization and it’ll all driven from leadership.
