There's also a lot of "why didn't you do this" from upper management when they were the ones who specifically said not to do it a couple of months ago. The managers are just not invested in the success of their team members, just the overall number so they can hit their own metrics and keep their jobs, and this has been consistent feedback across many departments like engineering, marketing, product, sales...etc. The CEO has certain biases towards departments/people she likes and are friends with and has misogynistic tendencies towards specific types of women (again consistent feedback from multiple people) which is sad and ironic since she's a successful woman herself and should inspire her workers, not judge them personally.
