      Learning Culture is the best at any company I've worked at

      Pros

      At Fictiv, we have a learning culture. This is led by our top executives. We know we will celebrate our wins and our losses because we can always capture learnings along the way and get better. No company is perfect, so it's how you learn and continue to evolve that builds the culture. Fictiv strives to be the place where employees can do the best work of their career, and in a learning culture, you're sure to grow towards that goal.

      It's hard work, but well worth it.

      Risk reward isn't worth it

      Pros

      The company is transforming the manufacturing industry and some of the people are nice and hard working.

      Cons

      If you want to join a company for a year or two then this might be a good option. If you are looking for a place to build your career then this probably isn't it. In spite of a hiring spree over the last two years, the company seems to have layoffs every 6-9 months. The cycle of over hiring and then firing seems to be the management style as they "experiment" with the business and then cut employees when the experiments fail. All the "happy talk" about people being valued is just talk, if you have another option then take it.

      Unique business that is transforming an old industry, manufacturing, in a long-overdue way.

      Cons

      Extremely bad at 'change management'. Clumsy and hurtful treatment of employees, new or veteran. Salary strategy is to offer below market, and tout other benefits as a reason to not pay a fair wage.
