      Passionate leadership and compelling mission

      Pros

      The culture is very unique and everyone is trying to solve for really challenging problems. The founders are mission driven and thoughtful with how they communicate and engage the team. Fictiv has a noble mission and values and its a great place if you are enthusiastic about building and supporting a great product. It is a start up and there are the typical challenges and growing pains.

      Cons

      We aren't always rowing the boat in the right direction as a team. There needs to be better clarity around roles and objectives so people have clear lanes to feel empowered to grow and make an impact at Fictiv. Covid impacted the pace and momentum, and I hope we can get back to normal state of Fictiv. The morale has been impacted by Covid.

      Great people who support one another.

      Cons

      Terrible management, stagnant growth with unrealistic goals, "furloughing" people who have worked at the company 5+ years with a days notice because they don't touch parts but then hiring for roles that don't touch parts that same day, shifting strategies every 3-months. Stay away.

While we understand this is an extremely difficult time for many, small businesses are also being greatly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. As a business, we have had to shift our strategy during Covid-19 so that we can make a greater impact in the community and for the manufacturing industry as a whole. Many manufacturing partners have truly felt the impact of this pandemic. We value agility and transparency during this time. We have great empathy for all who are impacted right now, especially our team members. And although we are not at liberty to discuss confidential personnel matters, Fictiv is working very hard to maintain business continuity during this time. Again, thank you for sharing your inputs, and our hope is that you are staying safe.
