Pros

UMR insurance is good and PTO is generous

Cons

I don't even know what to say or where to start. This call center prison has caused me to have to start taking depression medication and I get constant anxiety attacks and have mental break downs every week. This sad excuse of a company does not value their employees on the 401K WI side WHATSOEVER. We are the slaves and minions to their system, bottom of the totem pole and viewed as garbage employees who have to take main majority of ALL calls that come through. So we get ALL the grunt and BS for the lowest amount of pay, go figure. It's back to back calls with not even a 1 second break between calls, you have to follow your schedule down to the second or you "schedule adherence" will mess up, can't be under 88% out of a capped out 94% scale or you get in trouble. We are treated like children. We are so incredibly micromanaged to the point I want to get sick. Also, good luck going to the bathroom or God forbid you have children or an emergency while on the clock. The script we have to follow make us sound so robotic and saying that 50 times a day can drive one to insanity. Oh and they record every call and if you miss any important points in your script, well you pretty much fail. Anything below a 90% to Fidelity is a fail. Shame on this company. I can't WAIT for the day I can leave this place and never turn back. Just horrible! Never in my life have I worked for such a terrible company. I will be moving my assets and funds out of Fidelity when I leave.

Pros

Great benefits. Very large company with many resources, so a potential stepping stone or learning experience. You also have built in leads.

Cons

Managers will work you to the bone, encouraged to micromanage and police activity while making subtle threats if you even slip for one quarter. Upper management’s growth plan is to grow their income as much as possible before they retire by working people into poor mental and physical health. You will be expected to take about 20 appointments a week with little support staff shared through multiple advisors. 60 hour week minimums. Being sick, having family emergencies, being burnt out will not matter when it comes time to review your performance every month. Attrition is high in some departments, but the manager will never come under fire for it.

Pros

Resigned after all of these loyal years and don't give a dang about their ees unless you are smoocher.

Cons

Fidelity has NO strategy but how to become cheaper than Vanguard by hiring people that have no clue about investing. Fidelity strategy is to copy Charles Schwab brokerage services for trading and Vanguard for cheap indexing. Recommend staying away it will suck your soul out of you.
