Leading a new product category has its challenges

Pros

- Smart motivated coworkers - Great opportunity for personal growth with taking on new challenges - Incredible client roster - Great benefits and company location being in the heart of the Mission District.

Cons

- Management constantly changing the direction the company was going in - Layoffs which put company moral low and uncomfortable

Great concept but poor execution

Pros

The product has the potential to be truly great. The ability to connect to over 5 million contributors to perform work is a mind-blowing concept. Unfortunately the company has been around for over 5 years and still can't get this right. Bugs and problems with the product has led to a large churn in the customer base.

Cons

Execution. Leadership is seriously lacking at this company. Who let's go of half of the company after raising a round c? This is actual the 5th time a massive layoff has happened at crowdflower. Don't expect to be around at the company if they miss one or two targets.

Pros

Really enjoyed working with my boss, my peers, and my direct reports. Crowdflower really benefits people who otherwise have limited access to work otherwise, and that helps sustain interest. The benefits are excellent, the workplace has a good work/life balance.

Cons

Substantial structural problems in company and software. Do not raise any issues with upper management if you expect tenure.
