Pros

if you're in the right role, Fiksu can be a resume builder and a foot in the door into mobile.

Cons

Between Fiksu and Meed there have been layoffs almost monthly without an end in sight. Moral is low, most everyone who's still there wants a new job and no longer have the energy to make the product or company valuable. Last year it was sold to a Ukrainian based firm and they've made their intentions clear. There really isn't a path forward for both Fiksu or any of the employees that choose to stay there. Leadership in HR is more concerned with their obsession with dogs than ensuring the staff is happy, taken care of or that they're doing their job. Across the board upper management is completely out of touch but especially those closest to the CEO. Whenever anyone has negative feedback, that employee is quickly deemed a "bad egg" or "not on the bus" and all opinions from them are denounced. In their minds Fiksu is a great place to work and all else who think otherwise are just plain wrong. Salaries vary from person to person even within the same role. The company has historically taken full advantage of younger employees by paying them much, much less than someone else in their same role with slightly more experience and blaming it on "we're a start up" or similar excuses. They've made moves to address the problem with a leveling project but HR leadership instead went on a power-trip, became obsessed with who was ranked above or below them and did nothing to ensure the most valuable employees were compensated appropriately.
