Cheap - Lacks Benefits - Understaffed

The bankers are nice for the most part and fun to hang out with Nice manager

Cons

Pay is almost 50% below market no match to 401k hard to take time off since not enough coverage cover well below other firms for health/dental no African American bankers - only support staff barely any female bankers

You learn a lot purely because you’re working a ton - late nights every weekday and every weekend (except one weekend a month where it’s your “Protected Weekend”). Except to be grinding down to your bones.

Cons

Long and tough hours. Even more difficult given the lack of community and support from your deal teams. Super aggressive clawback policy on your bonus (inclusive of signing bonus, year-end bonus and any other bonuses you may receive). Except to lose your bonus if you do not stay for the entire two year analyst program.
