Pros

I've had a chance to work remotely for over two years after moving to Virginia from California. Previous management was very understanding of my desire to move closer to my parents and allowed me to take my position with me.

Cons

Acquisition of former D+H by Mysis (forming Finastra) resulted in offices getting closed and departments getting liquidated to and off-shore office. My team and department is one of them. While I understand the business decision, I find it deplorable that the company continues to push for new contracts with the customers my team currently supports before letting them know that their current support is being outsourced.

Pros

Good if you are in a low income area. Not so good if you are American.

Cons

This company will get rid of American jobs and send them to India to save money.
