Pros
People were great to work with. Most were helpful if they had the time. Pre-covid the company was doing much better. Post covid the company has become entirely outsourced. You dont have to talk directly to Simon Paris. You'll have a fresh resume if you joined this year because they are now removing people.
Cons
Its now outsourced entirely. They are firing off nearly all the US developers. In one fell swoop they got rid of nearly all of them and moved everything to cheaper labor. The training to keep up with the product there was this subtle expectation you needed to just go to school in your off time or learn in your off time and work with yourself but they never actually provided any resources so that was helpful. One time my manager told me this long lengthy speech about how they motivate everyone to do better but when I actually asked for help they said "I cant answer that for you." The management is absolutely atrocious it's incredible. They promote people based usually around how long and how easy it is. They usually and have moved people from a position to another without any training or even asking if the person is comfortable, they just change your job and tell you to do it. Then they get frustrated when you cant do the job that you've never done in your life. It became absolutely miserable and now they are firing the entire staff. The pay actually isn't competitive at all compared to other places. Culture wise it became deplorable and very back stabby. It became obvious they were not actually hiring diversly and by that I mean they were only hiring overseas. Simon Paris is there and that man is absolutely aborhant.
