Pros

Fantastic work environment, good work/life balance, lots of super smart and friendly co-workers. Also you get to work on world renown games.

Cons

Things can sometimes be a bit too lax. The games don't necesarily push the boundaries of graphics, which tends to discourage some people from working. Also compensation is not great considering the cost of living of the area

Pros

The atmosphere is extremely family friendly, and the studio has a very positive proven record. Really comfortable and dependable company.

Cons

Because it's on the east coast, it doesn't usually attract the same level of talent that a west coast studio has access to. Salaries are below average.

Pros

Access to Sid Meier is pretty awesome, but he is a busy man and you will have work to do too. He is one of the nicest folks you'll meet. It's a small studio, so you will have an opportunity to contribute. The people are awesome.

Cons

Their code is quite sloppy, but no worse than some other studios out there. They won't take many risks and are very schedule driven/at the whim of their publisher. Also, the Baltimore area suburbs are more expensive than one would think. It's not anywhere near San Francisco or New York prices, but way higher than Austin or North Carolina.
