pay is almost always low for the amount of work you put in. Worked there for almost a year and put in 40+ hours almost every week, got called in constantly, bosses gave me great reviews, but never went above minimum wage. When someone did get a raise, it's because they became a shift leader, and that was only about a $0.50 more. work hours are scattered, schedules come out LATE not much chance to work your way up huge turn over, it seems like someone is always being trained

The manager/owner at this location decided after one week (which isn't enough time to properly evaluate anyone) to fire me from this position. I was given no chance to actually do the job as required and I made every effort to help the team. The manager went through the same training as everyone else and was to do things according to what was suggested by the trainers. As soon as the trainers left, the manager changed how things were done and customers were not happy with their service. Until the owner for this location is gone, I will not eat at this Firehouse Subs location. Employees are customers too and if they don't like how they got treated, they'll go somewhere else.
