Pros

Really great coffee, full benefits package, full company allowances and materials. Amazing warehouse/service/route representatives.

Cons

I’m just going to share my story and let you know to not make my mistakes: I had been working there for 3 weeks, mgr offers “progress report,” and I’m stoked bc this is a career change for me. Mgr tells me I’m “not cut out for sales” bc I’m “too analytical.” This was after I got a meeting with a lead my first time out. After doing exactly what I was asked in the exact manner I was told to do. Cold calling was cool, mgmt spells out clear script that is highly accessible and easy to follow. Warehouse guys were great, told me sales reps don’t last long. I didn’t understand what they meant, but I guess I do now. The clincher was her going through my purse while I was trying to grab my cup of coffee while making sure she had all company property and leave. I understand the vigilance on her part, but going through private property is not okay to say the least. In all, I’d say to be very aware of who you’re working with at First Choice. I would not recommend First Choice Coffee Services to a friend.

Pros

Really are none unless you enjoy knocking on doors and endless cold calling day in and day out hoping for an appointment to meet with someone.

Cons

A company that has yet to use any form of modernization that drives today’s business. They assign a territory but they allow others to sell wherever they want. Management takes all the leads for themselves. No CMS to speak of. They believe that the ballpoint pen is the best technology. Training is a joke!

Pros

free coffee other than that you could meet a lot of office people that coffee is the LAST thing on there mind and too busy to hear from someone to make changes they are usually fine with there coffee service

Cons

worst training ever in my entire career....they will set you up to fail! mostly because of the lack of training and you go out to appointments not knowing very much....a waist of time but the money for the 1st year is only ok if it's your first sales job...otherwise it's not what they describe the first check of the month is more than the last....upsetting when you have the 1st of the month bills and no one informed you the checks were very different....last check of the month is much less....would have liked to know to budget...upper management doesn't seem to much at all...
