You have minimum control over your schedule, they can slap you where they want you and if you get hold of a schedule that works for you, they can up and change it at any given time. Long hours, will most likely work 12 hour shifts and will be forced to stay an extra 16 or 12 hours if your relief does not show up.

They lied on the job advertisement I responded to. Advertised health INSURANCE as a benefit, it's a reimbursement plan. And isn't worth anything. PTO, have to work a year to get 5 use it or lose it days. Other benefits are over priced and don't provide much coverage. If you click on benefits to see a cost and don't click submit, HR will automatically enroll you in those benefits anyway and you won't find out until it's too late to cancel them. So you're stuck with benefits you don't want. Not even sure if that's legal, but they will. So watch out for that. The one time I was allowed overtime, they paid me at the wrong rate. I pointed it out and was told it would be rectified, it never was. That IS illegal. They didn't care. I was told in the interview it paid $13.50/hr. It was actually $13. Then a week later, because they are horrible at contract negotiation, it dropped to $12. Several months after starting they started advertising new hire bonuses on the Facebook marketplace. I asked where my bonus was and was told I don't get one. Oh yeah, the whole time I was there, they never withheld the right amount of taxes and payroll kept blaming me instead of fixing it. I submitted a W4 several times.
