Pros

Your schedule can be somewhat flexible. Management is pretty accessible. There are some good people there.

Cons

Drivers get paid way more than dispatchers. No job security Overworked & under appreciated If you do a great job don't plan on moving up they want to keep you right where you are at. This location does not promote within. Management does not address certain problematic employees behavior or performance because they have been there years and they favor them. Management has very outdated values. You need to have very thick skin ... prepared to be berated often Even when you go above and beyond and something worthy of celebration you will still be talked down to. Management gossips to the driver's shop steward & other office staff who then tell everyone else. It's very unprofessional & messy. Because of this there are often times drivers know about the things management does want them to know for example building closures, policy changes, lay offs, employees personal business, & disciplinary action.
