Pros

This is a very large company which means there are lots of interesting projects to work on if you are motivated. Generally the employees here are great coworkers, and the atmosphere is reasonably collegial.

Cons

Very hierarchical, and about who you are friends with. Not friends with the right people expect to go nowhere. If you are you can do a terrible job and only suffer a lateral move. Peter Principal at play here. Management lacks long term vision, and its political ideology interferes with ability to negotiate changes in industry. When the political winds blow against you, adjust your sail.

Pros

Pay check to pay the bills. Still have health care. Buildings have a roof, four walls and a floor.

Cons

Raises for majority of employees less than inflation (buying power is decreasing for most), reducing manpower but expecting more from employees, Work-Life Balance a negative (Generation resolved this issue by creating a new "unpaid overtime" time code - Clueless), Great place for a Live to Work person, delta in salaries between Senior/Executive Leadership and the others increasing yearly, no retiree health care, no pension plan, continued reduction in health care benefits, "Ready-Fire-Aim" Management Style by Nuclear/Generation Leadership, respect for employees appears to be declining, Performance Appraisals are really a Populatiry Contest and no longer linked to "incentive pay", promotions based on "buddy system," less than adequate communications between the different groups in the company, modivation for arriving each day is declining, careful providing truthful answer to question as one may be listed as "not a team player" or "disgruntled,"

Pros

Average Pay, good place to get experience but not a place to get paid or have a career.

Cons

Average Pay, expensive benefits, poor management from top to bottom with a selfish greedy CEO that is on his way out due to retirement. A company that is positioning itself to be bought out.
