      Pros

      I had a great hiring process and the managers that were doing the interview were very friendly. coworkers seem very helpful as well

      Cons

      8 hour rotating shift work is not too bad. shifting to a 12 hour shift rotation would allow for more time off

      Pros

      Lots of time off and laid back atmosphere. 401k match 100% up to 6%. Lots of room for growth and excellent pay compared to similar positions.

      Cold winters! Not much else to complain about

      Pros

      The compensation package is very good. There is plentiful overtime pay and there is also an annual bonus. Made several good friends over the years. There is also opportunity for individual growth.

      Cons

      Odd work hours and abundance of overtime makes it very challenging to have any sort of work-life balance. The nuclear industry is very meticulous in regards to procedures and standards. People from other, less detail oriented backgrounds may have a difficult time adjusting. New employees need to understand that they are nuclear professionals and be able to accept the additional time it takes to "do the job" because of the use of human performance tools.
