The manager of the division I worked in liked to play favorites. This was glaringly obvious when it came time to layoff people at the start of the COVID lockdown. Instead of picking the persons with the least seniority (like most companies and ethical people do), she picked the five that she had disagreements with. This included one person who was to be the team lead in a part of her department which was scheduled to be broken off to another division. And this brings me to another point, in that the company is starting to act like a big company. I worked for a company many years ago that was one of the largest in the US. We constantly were having reorganizations of departments, which is something that FirstKey was starting to implement too frequently.
