At FirstSteps, our instructors play a pivotal role, and we aim to support both their career and financial well-being from day one. We provide ongoing mentorship and opportunities for wage increases, with many seeing a 10% pay increase within their first year. We also strive to nurture your professional development by offering comprehensive training and RBT sponsorship that culminates in earning the nationally recognized Registered Behavior Technician credential. As you know, this credential stays with you when you leave FirstSteps and is highly valued in our field.
We're saddened to also hear that advancement opportunities may not have been clearly communicated with you. It's crucial to us that our exceptional Instructors are able to make FirstSteps their long-term career home. We absolutely offer various advancement paths, including Lead Instructor, Center-Based Manager, Training Manager, and administrative roles, that do not require graduate training or the BCBA credential. We would be happy to chat if you are interested and discuss potential career trajectories should you wish to return.
