Pros

I’ve worked at First Steps for almost five years. They truly care about their staff and the kids they help! There are also opportunities for raises and upward mobility within the company. They are flexible with scheduling if you are in school or have other responsibilities. Overall, my time there has been a great experience!

Cons

I don’t really think there are any downsides!

Pros

In-person RBT training, layers of support, opportunity for growth, BCBA fieldwork site, top quality ABA where clients are centered. Involve team in instilling what compassionate care looks like.

Cons

Driving and cancelations. They do their best to provide work, ensure client families share same view in prioritizing treatment as rec'd, and try to zone staff based on cases. It's not perfect, but they listen to feedback and do their best in adjusting practices so policies value clients and staff.
