Pros

Some really great supervisors to work with Program Directors/Supervisors attempt to work with instructors to fix issues that occur Great training program at the beginning of each entry of new "position" of the clinical team Office space is nice, office supplies and technology provided at the office

Cons

Administrative and Scheduling team is difficult to work with. Scheduling team tends to wait to last minute to tend to issues regarding appointment changes and requests. They are inconsistent with how they tend to various issues regarding client or staff. Frequent cancellations without pay. Initial training is awesome but they fail to keep up with real development or support after initial training. Inconsistent support - depending on who your supervisor is. You work alone a lot - barely get to see any of your co workers

Pros

-Great initial training on the basic principles of A.B.A. -Supportive P.D.'s always available to answer questions, open to comments and observations -Opportunities for growth within the company

Cons

-Low pay rate for amount of work and responsibility. Often times responsibilities given were out of job title. -Need thorough training on state laws, regulations, L.A.U.S.D policies etc. -More specific safety plans in place (especially for high risk children) in the school setting -Should establish a clearer hierarchy of parent and teacher communication, concerns relayed to instructors (re-directing questions/concerns to the P.D.'s, P.M.'s)

Pros

-Great mentorship and initial instructor training. -Clinical staff is very dedicated and professional. -Scheduling staff is quick, effective, and compassionate. -Great communication. -Most clinicians provide very effective treatment to the clients.

Cons

-Initial training is great, but that does not continue throughout the job. -Low pay with little to no negotiation. -Very demanding work hours with a lot of pressure to work beyond 8 hours a day. -Work environment doesn't encourage employees to express grievances or concerns to employer. -The company needs to focus on retaining staff.
