Pros

I started at Flatiron in 2019 right out of a Top 50 college, with relevant internship experience, a somewhat relevant Bachelors in Science, and a significant work history (compared to other graduating seniors). In 4 years at the company, I was able to grow from an L1 associate to an L4 senior manager. If I started at the company today, I don't think my career or growth would have taken off in the same way - the company is seemingly limiting promotions and internal growth to drive down costs.

Cons

It's hard to work cross-functionally here.

Pros

Flatiron Health is by-far one of the most mission driven companies I've ever worked at - everyone is so committed to the overall goal and always keeps it in mind. These are also some of the nicest people I've ever worked with and this company has the best work/life balance I've ever experienced

Cons

Pay could be better, performance review cycle is a little annoying - biggest con however is just the ambiguity with everything. The company reorgs so often that it leaves you wondering when they might get it right and stop changing because every change changes job descriptions, there is also no real structure to anything which can be both a good and bad thing depending on who u r
